Fylde Coast Ramblers has lost an important member

Eunice McGuire has now left all her friends behind to start a new life in the USA.
Eunice has been toying with the idea of moving to Louisville in Kentucky for some time. She has often had lengthy holidays staying with her daughter Shelagh. During these times she realized that house prices and the cost of living are cheaper over there. Also her late husband's USAF pension would be better if drawn and used in the USA.
She will be sadly missed as a friend and within the club. In the past she has been a committee member and a Saturday Booking Secretary for the Fylde Coast Ramblers. To both theses jobs she brought a positive and happy disposition. Always ready with a smile and some good conversation.
We wish her all the best for her new beginning in the USA.
